Tania Oliveira is a brazilian born Miami-based artist. Raised in Petropolis - Rio de Janeiro, her hometown in Brazil, she grew up in a house sorouded by forest and wild life, playing with her pets and portraing them in her paintings, using a gouache made by herself with flowers and leaves. Since childhood, art and animals have been her biggest passions. Tania moved to Miami in early 2000s, and started working full time as an artist in 2008. She gained reputation capturing animal's individuality and spirit in her artworks, created to raise awereness and draw attention to environmental and animal causes, having participated of many beneficent auctions to support animal welfare organizations.
